Summer 2026
A Summer Full of Spanish, Laughter, and New Friendships
Summer 2026 at CISA
What a beautiful summer we had at CISA!
It may have been a little rainier than usual, but it was a summer filled with wonderful people, new friendships, lots of activities, plenty of hard work, laughter, and, of course, a lot of Spanish!
Our Summer Graduates
Throughout the summer, we had the joy of welcoming several families as well as individual students who came to Costa Rica to learn Spanish, experience our culture, and become part of the CISA family. We had so much fun spending time together, playing with the children, exploring, learning, and simply celebrating life.

The Group from Colorado
Once again, we were blessed by the visit of our wonderful Colorado group. Their visits are always such a blessing to us and to our community. This year, they helped us remodel our Playground, giving new life to a place that has brought joy to so many children over the years. The result was beautiful, and we are incredibly grateful for all their hard work, generosity, and love.

The Fenske Family
One of the most special moments of the summer was welcoming the Fenske family.
Cameron Fenske first came to CISA in 2007, when he was just a young man. Almost two decades later, he returned — this time with his wife and children.
What a beautiful thing it was to see him again, now sharing Costa Rica and CISA with his own family. Moments like this remind us that CISA has always been about much more than learning a language. It is about relationships, experiences, friendships, and memories that can last for generations.

Looking back at Summer 2026, our hearts are full of gratitude. Thank you to every student, every family, every volunteer, every child, and every friend who was part of it.
You made this summer unforgettable.
Muchas gracias, CISA Summer 2026! ❤️🇨🇷
We learned. We served. We laughed. We spoke a lot of Spanish. And yes… we got a little wet too! 🌧️😄
See you next summer!
