The Christian Immersion Spanish Academy (CISA), located in beautiful Costa Rica, is one of the few nondenominational Christian Spanish Programs in the world. We uphold Christian values and excellence within our operation and our highly professional curriculum. CISA will give you the most important language and cultural tools you need to share your life with a Spanish speaker. CISA is the school for you whether your goal for learning Spanish is to serve the Spanish speaking community in your own country, planning a church mission trip or for your own personal goal. For more than twenty years, CISA has been teaching families and mission teams, as well as students of all ages: teens, young adults, college and graduate students, professionals, and seniors. A Family-Oriented School Since 2006
CISA Spanish school was established in 2006 with the goal to fulfill the growing need for individuals and groups to be able to learn to speak the language while serving in Spanish speaking communities. CISA is located in the small, rural town of Tuis, which is 25 minutes from the urban city, Turrialba. It is a family oriented and friendly area where Spanish learners, from beginner to advanced levels, will feel welcome!

Celebrating Two Decades of Spanish Education
Over the past 20 years, CISA has graduated more than 2,000 students and families from diverse countries including the United States, Canada, England, Germany, New Zealand, Brazil, France, Holland, China, and South Korea. This international reach reflects the trust that people from around the world have placed in CISA to provide not only effective Spanish language education but also an immersive cultural and community-based experience. Our alumni carry with them both the language skills and the cross-cultural understanding that allows them to thrive in Spanish-speaking environments.
